Nightfall question - Guild Wars Forums

I've never played Guild Wars so I don't no anything about it, but my friend wants me to start playing and it looks pretty intresting. So I figured I would get Nightfall, but do you only get to play as the 2 new profesions or do u get to play as the factions and prophicies profesions too? or do u have to buy those 2 games??

You get to play the core professions of warrior, necro, mesmer, elementalist, monk and ranger. You also get to choose dervish or paragon.

You will not be able to create an assassin or ritualist unless you also own Factions.
